When I grow up...
I want to be a mature student. Seriously, they are so awesome! Today I got to hang out with one of my favorites--Calvin. The best thing about mature students is that they looovveee to tell you about their problems. We spent about an hour sitting around talking about his life. He told me all about his financial problems and his insecurities about being a mature student. He said that he can't handle all the "19 year old bimbos" and that everyone in university is "so inmature!". I like the idea of expecting to come to university with a bunch of rich kids fresh out of high school and expect academic stimulation. Then he looks me right in the eye and says:
"How old are you?"
"22"
"Yea, I can tell. You're really mature you know. You know how I know? You're not sitting there talking to me about some of those rapper superstar guys. You know the girls I mean?........fucking bitch doucebags"
Then I hung out with another mature student who is taking my professor (who is her age) to a vineyard for a sleep-over at her brother-in-laws house.
I can tell i'm supposed to be doing school work because i'm updating about very unimportant things. Where da gold?

procrastinating definitely seems to be a recurring theme in the blog writings of both katherine and sarah.
procrastination underlies most of my entries, too, though i tend to be less explicitly honest about my motives.
can you guess what i'm doing right now?
that's right.
procrastinating.
booked flights today. i'll definitely be in europe to see bear, and i'll definitely be home to see kathy, darcy, ranna, saul-paul and all the crew, second half of august cannot wait for no more school.
