I had a gal in Texas, she walked away and left us.
It is snowing again.
Snow used to be kind of fun, no school is always a plus. Now I think snow is just kind of annoying. It always seems to decide to arrive when I want to actually do something. It's like an annoying relative that just shows up and then you have to stay home and eat dinner with it. Speaking of relatives, I got a phone call from my really funny grandfather today (well, my only grandfather). He is in love with the weather. I always know when he's going to call because it's always immediately following any sort of storm or event. He loved Juan so much, he spent four days cutting down trees and drove here from Mouncton at 5 a.m.
Anyways, he told me that I shouldn't go to London. He told me that his reasons are that "it's not that great" and that I would be better off to "stay in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick." He also tried to enhance his argument by throwing in that I would be "lonely and bored." He has lived in Mouncton his whole life. He was puzzled with why I would want to move to Europe when I could move to New Brunswick. No competition I guess. Why would I choose a big, old, fascinating city when I could live in the anus of Canada and work at Crystal Palace?
My parent's flight got delayed; they will be home tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. I wanted to hear more about their trip but my Dad isn't good on the phone and he kept getting distracted.
Don't you love it when your parents don't tell you (semi) important things? The other day I got a phone message which confirmed the following:
"Hi Holly, this is doctor Bla calling from bla bla office. I just want you to know that we got the results from your optic nerve tests. They are better than I expected, please call me."
When I asked my dad he was like "oh yea, your mom might have glacoma. That's when your eyes cloud over and you eventually go blind." It made me a little bit angry. I like knowing what is going on in people's lives, how else do you make them feel better? Then he made some joke about how he will be deaf and mom will be blind and they won't communicate well.....thanks dad. I guess we've always dealt with problems in a humerous manner but sometimes it borders on unappropriate. Humor can have fluid lines I suppose.
I went to church today! ANND got to wear a name tag. I have always wanted to be the "new person" at a church, they get treated like a war hero! I didn't get treated like a hero but people were really nice and welcoming.
I had too much coffee. I am going to go watch teen girl movies and enjoy being in the house during a blizzzzyyyyyyy.
bye.

Erin,
One time when I was at C.P. I saw someone throw up off the swings. It was spraying everywhere in a circular motion and getting on people and their belongings. I was probably one of the most amazing things i've ever seen.
