Tornados......Insane-os!

Is anyone yet aware that I am a TORNADO SURVIVOR? Does anyone know that I lived through the hail, lightening and chaos of a tornado!!!!! Does anyone know what this means to me? My sick fascination with tornados and destruction finally heard my calling? Well it did.

And here is the story.

I am walking to school with my friend Natalie from Miami. We are doing our usual bitch and complain morning routine when it starts raining. Whatever. I reach into my purse to get my umbrella. Obviously, it's not there so I guess that part of the story should be ommitted. So then the winds starts. It is slow at first and then it's gusting so quickly and violently that I can barely stand straight. A bolt of lightning strikes the ground in front of us (well, probably near-by ish) and we panic. Then hail starts pelting the ground. It looked like someone had flipped the sky upside down. We ran into a nearby Starbucks. Natalie ordered a latte but I already had a coffee so I didn't need to (also not important). Natalie was amazed by the hale being from Florida and being raised in a palm tree house next to a strip mall (kidzers, LOL). Anyways, I told her that this behavior was much the same as that of a TWISTER! She told me to shut up: "There are OBVIOUSLY no twisters here, Sarah!". So what if she's from Florida and has seen tons.....what does she know? Anyways, we went to school and our teacher from Afghanistan who hates boys gave us help and we did math.

THEN.....I read in the paper that there WAS a tornado in North London (I live in North East London, probably about 30 minute walk from where it hit). I think I have the gift of meterological intition! Neat, eh?

I could survive a tornado and it's okay beause....
