I am so bored right now. Although, in my situation, bordem is a conscious choice. There are about a million things I COULD and SHOULD be doing but instead i'm in my room, surrounded by paints and papers, eating "Cool Ranch Doritos". I can't think, I am so excited to see Ted I think I will end up vomiting all over him when I see him. Tonight is Halloween. I knew this when I was walking down Marylebone High Street and saw two slutty girls. Then I noticed they were both wearing bunny ears....of course. Now all of my friends are on a boat cruise and i'm sitting here in eager anticipation just wishing that I could wake up and it would be 5 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. Today I took a photo montage of my walk to school. I notice details when I take the time. It's nice.
Anticipation is increasing anxiety which is triggering a numbing sense of home sickness. I haven't really had any time to feel homesick since i've been here. I think I just miss the convenience of living in Canada: hot and cold water are in the same tap, metric systems are normal, bacon is cooked, you know, the little things. I have been filling sketchbook after sketchbook with ideas about "metamorphosis" and "origin" and researching pop art and pop tarts and poppy pop pop and trying to find any avenue to extend the simplicity of words and symbols and symbols within symbols. So much to think about! Water color is fun now that i'm getting the basic idea of it but I forgot that oil paint is infinately wet and I ruined a shirt when I ran into it.
You know what song is really emotional? "You Look Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton. Man, i'm having a "Homeward Bound" moment where I just feel like feeling sorry for animals or people or something somehwere. I just downloaded a bunch of Boys2Men. That song "Down on Bended Knee" is a true classic and what I consider the most ichonic song of the 90's. I would love to know what happened to those guys.
Anyways, I have to go work on more school work!!! I will post pics of Neko.

sarah, i'm happy you still love boyz 2 men, too. i brought them out last year and didn't regret it. i reccomend the whole album for your sexy reunion with ted.

i wish that i could paint pictures for homework instead of "reflecting" on my feelings about all the BS we are constantly "discussing."
you would never know that i actually FOUGHT to get into this school! you should post something or some things that you are making! i wanna see.
