"it's like someone stealing your bloody underwear!"

This summer has been pretty okay.

Last Saturday I went to Tribecca with Emily and got plesantly drunk, hung out with customers, and danced to songs like "Come On Eileen" and "Pump it Up" by Elvis Costello. Everyone who is important should come to our JOINED BIRTHDAY party which will be commencing on August 12 at Monte's. I figure it's the best place to have a birthday party because I/we can invite whoever you want. The only people uninvited who will be present will be regulars who are the type of people I would want there anyways.

I am starting to get really stressed about moving.

I know i'm going to miss a lot of people but I also figure that the people that i'll miss most are the people i'm certain I won't loose touch with. I've decided that I am going to try and complete my program in two years which means that I won't be visiting at all other than Christmas (maybe...) and perhaps a week here and there. Ted is moving to France so i'm glad I get to be on the same continent as someone who i'm familiar with. I just hope that i'm outgoing/fun enough to make good first impressions and meet some interesting friends. I know that my time here has expired and that it's well time I got out of here.

Ted and I got to go to P.E.I this weekend. I love it there, it's so beautiful! We went to a mediocre play called "Shear Madness" which was about a murder committed in a hair salon. The gay sterotype which features the flamboyant hairdresser was by no means understated; I could have dealt with a less typical approach to hairdressing. Either way, it was okay. My favorite part was when Ted and I introduced ourselves to the people seated with us and told us where we were from. I didn't know people hated Ontarians so much! They both rolled their eyes and mouthed something rude. It serves him right; everyone knows that Ontario people are the equivilant to New Englanders. There is stuff going on this weekend: The Grass show tomorrow at Stage Nine and Tribecca on Saturday night. If anyone is interested in drinking/hanging out/going, call me (you know the numba).

Right now I am reading a book by Tom Wolfe. Does anyone else have any authors who they think I would enjoy? I like to have a book lined up each time I finish one.

Call me jerks, Krista is away and i'll get bored.

I want to hang out with you before you go. When do you leave? If you're interested, Emily Ross and I are having a combined birthday scheduled to commence THIS SATURDAY (Aug 12) at Emily's house and then Monte's to follow. Please come!
