adding insult to irony....

This weekend was Pop Exolosion. It wasn't as excellent as I anticipated but I still throughraly enjoyed the Arcade Fire show on Friday night. I posted pictures. The show was packed; people were literally shoulder to shoulder almost as far back as the smoking room. Either way, they blew my mind.

I drank a lot of wine.

The pictures below are of Krista and I during a drunken photo shoot. I was laughing hysterically, that's why my face is red and I look ugly in them. Drunken pictures always capture my face as it's best or worst (although, usually worst outweighs best).

I am going to in exhile this week. I have so much school work to do. I'm writing an essay on rape and sacrifice in Titus Andronicus, as well as preparing a presentation on Mary Sidney for my 16th Century Literature class.

And then it's off to Boston.

I'm buying a pair of Diesel jeans. I've decided i'm going to make the investment.

This week has been sort of long and confusing. School is getting more and more difficult, I think I want to quit my job. I just can't go on feeling out of control anymore. I feel like I never have time to enjoy anything, i'm always tired from work, resting for work, overwhelmed from reading or dizzy from writing. I just want to feel like i'm in one piece again.

Pic-tars!

i missed home when i knew i was missing pop explosion. it seems to define something characteristically good about halifax. my little brudda turned 19. was he at pop explosion? was he a good boy? keep me updated, cuz i'm sure he won't.

so, your going to boston? when? i'd like to see ya but it probably isn't possible. if it were on american thanksgiving maybe i could take the train or something.

sarah you should call me. i need to blubber about boys to someone, and that someone should be you.

i like your pictures. you look like a classy girl and a grown-up girl. all pearls and wool and even earth tones. i've begun to embrace the earthtones. maybe i'm becoming a grown-up girl too.

go to wendy's blogsite and see my halloween costume. i was cute.

that's all for now. that's all you get on blogmail.

    w love,
    Jillian
